We learned the hard way. Never again! But to the glory of God, we weathered that season with the help of God’s Word and by being ready to learn Kingdom principles, Biblical wisdom, and financial stewardship.
This is the reason we built this resource website. To help Christians who are going through financial stress, financial crisis, and financial anxiety.
We are Joe and Maggie.
We are both Ordained Evangelical Ministers of the Gospel. We actively serve as Leaders in our local Church.
We have been active Christians for close to 30 years and have been serving in ministry. A larger part of our ministry work is pre and post-marital counselling of couples in God’s instituted marriage as per the Holy Bible.
In our Pastoral counselling work, we deal a lot with individuals and couples who are in fear, anxiety, and financial crisis. This is the reason for this website. To help more people get out of that kind of bondage.

Our Story
Several years ago, my wife and I were running a business. It was a successful consulting business. This was in the area of Information Technology and Financial Accounting. We used to install and configure accounting systems and prepare books of accounts for businesses. One day, an unexpected event happened. We lost a huge sum of money in a business transaction that appeared solid on the face of it.
Suddenly, we were drowning. Not in water—but in financial anxiety, debt stress, and broken faith. Yes, we were forced to be like that guy in the Bible who told Jesus, “Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief!” We found ourselves in shaky faith.
What happened? We found ourselves in over $25,000 in debt. We had never been in such a mess before. It happened suddenly. We had never at any given time ever thought that one day we would have such a noose around our necks! After all, wasn’t God with us all the time?
Our lives, especially family life, have been stressed and tested before. From that time, every bill was a nightmare. The noose was getting tighter around our financial necks. We prayed, we declared, but it felt empty. Our faith felt disconnected from the financial mess we found ourselves in. But in all this, we held on to each other and, as a family, we had to hold on to God and His word.
We searched for solutions everywhere. Most especially, quick fixes. We needed to learn how to stay united as a family in that situation. We needed answers quickly. Then something shifted in the spiritual realm. We awakened to the truth in the scriptures.
We stopped seeking quick fixes and started examining how scripture talks about money, anxiety, and crisis. We found biblical principles that changed our finances and our outlook on life. You’ve heard that knowledge is power, but it’s really applied knowledge that holds the power. The true power lies in the knowledge you embrace and act upon!
We continued to apply the knowledge we gained from God’s word to our faith. We studied God’s word in depth and took practical steps to address the debt situation. Consistently and surely, we began to see change within and around us. God raised people to help clear the debt in addition to our own effort.
Our family began to heal. Steadily. The financial anxiety didn’t disappear—but it lost its power. Most importantly, we rebuilt our faith to a higher level in a way that felt real. It wasn’t an overnight pill, but it happened as we faithfully believed, trusted, and worked the Kingdom principles.
Out of that big event in our lives, we have committed to sharing what worked for us. Not theoretical theology. Not generic financial advice. Real, grounded, faith-centred strategies for breaking the cycles that almost destroyed our lives.
Biblical faith is not denial.
